Usually, time just flies by, there isn’t enough time in a day, but it’s one of those nights where it’s 4:00am and time just slowly crawls by. I hate stagnation and I figured writing about it may be more helpful then scrolling aimlessly through social media. It’s nights like this, I wish there was a guidebook to life and how to handle situations. Even with the best support system in the world, everyone has moments where they have to stand on their own two feet and tackle life’s challenges within their specific path, different from everyone else’s. This is a very vulnerable situation. It’s like stepping on a platform to meet life, and your support system isn’t able to come with you, but just support you from a distance. This is how I feel preparing to leave for Kenya in two weeks, maintaining my grades in Nursing, training with my teams, and working. As hard as it is sometimes, its remembering how thankful I am to have these opportunities. One step at a time.
