6, 807 km, 7 hour plane ride, 1 ocean, that is far away. I love traveling and seeing new places. I love going for more than a month to completely new places and experience how other people live and learn, but each place has their own challenges. When I moved to Lake Louise it was 2 hours away from civilization, I had a very stressful job, and it was 40 hours away from home. Many days I worked 10+ hours and I was at the gym by myself at 12:00am. Even through these challenges it was one of the best experiences of my life. Stunning Lake Louise was my backyard, I sat among thousands of snowy topped mountains after my weekly hikes , and met amazing people from around the world. In Italy, I am seeing views the literally make my jaw drop, teaching the sweetest girls English, and learning about where my dad grew up. This is a very unique situation, where very few people speak English, and very few people are my age. I do miss the comfort of Canada and the support of my friends, family, and boyfriend, but one of the amazing things is overcoming new challenges and adapting.
